Our exploratory tastings with the team at PLOT helped us to realise how seriously they take their coffee, and also how the right bean could bring our coffee stout to the next level. AGUACATONES is brewed with a wide array of malts; roasted malts for colour and rich flavour, crystal malt for sticky sweetness and a red hue, oats for body and roundness, and maris otter as a solid canvas. 15kg of cold brewed coffee was added to the fermenter once the beer was conditioning. At 5.5% abv gives the beer a strong and hearty body, round and silky but packed with flavour.
