When you collaborate with Põhjala from Estonia there is only one style to brew together. Known for their delicious porters and stouts, we’ve taken a walk on the dark side and created a decadent imperial stout with Amburana wood and toasted coconut.
The Amburana Cearensis Tree, which is native to South America, is known for its unique flavour, with notes of cinnamon, vanilla, and nutmeg. We circulated this lusciously smooth and succulent stout over the Amburana wood, complimenting the intricate malt base and enhancing the flavours of these warming spices, with notes of treacle and chocolate. The toasted coconut marries with the fragrant vanilla to provide a gentle and balanced finish.
