This is one of 11 releases of barrel aged Imperial Russian Stout. One brew, split into 11 different casks and left to develop and absorb the character and flavour embedded in the wood. This one has been resting in a Cognac Barrel and has layer upon layer of flavour from this rich, fruity and tobacco forward barrel. This will develop over time but is excellent to drink right now.
