Boerenerf Oude Gueuze 1871
Description
A traditional blend of young and old lambics. The beer reveals a charmingly cloudy golden blonde appearance, adorned with a subtle pale apricot tint. The aroma is a delightful interplay of dry wood, dried apple, apricot, and a discreet touch of Brett funk.
The taste is lively and effervescent, reminiscent of champagne, with sour fruit notes such as green apple and unripe pear, complemented by a creamy, bready core. This gueuze offers an accessible and enjoyable experience, making it reminiscent of an “introductory” gueuze with a youthful and approachable character.
