Obeisance; a Maderised barrel aged Imperial Stout, coming in at 11.6% This is a combo of 3 Imperial Stouts, all aged in 18-20 year old Speyside whisky barrels, one of which was "maderised". Basically it was purposely aged in a third filled barrel at warm temps, in order to oxidise it and bring out Barley Wine/Port/Madeira fruity flavours. Think dates & raisins along with tobacco and whisky.
