For Smoked Beer Preservation Day on July 23rd, we're releasing a special unfiltered version of the classic Märzen. Following ancient brewing tradition, we leave the yeast in the beer, where it ensures a particularly full-bodied and complex flavour. As with the classic Märzen, the malt for this special edition is smoked over open beechwood, giving it the typical aroma of Aecht Schlenkerla smoked beers, so appreciated by smoked beer lovers.
